- How to extract audio from a video

There are few conditions when you’re extracting audio from a video. I copied this from innoheim.com website liteRecorder guide. http://www.innoheim.com/guide/literecorder2guide.html
- You need to install the MP3 file encoder (LAME) to extract audio data.
- The original video file to convert must be an AVI file and the only 2 types of codecs, 「Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V3」 and 「inno Screen Capture Codec」 are supported.
- The audio data for an original video file must be in PCM format. A video file with 2 or more channels cannot be converted.

You will need LAME codec for MP3 and the video file has to be encoded with either Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V3 or inno Screen Capture Codec.

If you haven’t installed LAME codec, go to LAME site and download the latest LAME file and copy dll file to the directory where you installed liteRecorder.

I’m going to extract audio from the video file I recorded, How to record Youtube Video tutorial. I want to save it as MP3 file with CD quality (default quality). When you’re done selecting the file type and audio format, let’s start extracting.
